"Because I love to eat.
Because I love to cook.
Because the dish is the plate.
Because what we see is part of what we taste.
Because color awakens the appetite.
I create as I cook: in rhythm with the seasons,
Dish after dish."

— Clémentine Giaconia

Each piece imagined by Clémentine is wheel-thrown or hand-sculpted, then glazed by hand, making it truly one-of-a-kind. As a designer and architect with a strong sensitivity to material, color, and texture, ceramics offer her an expressive terrain with endless variations. All her pieces are crafted in stoneware in her Paris studio.
