Reffetorio Paris

The Refettorio Paris is a charity restaurant located in the crypt of the Madeleine church, in the heart of Paris.

In the evening, a welcoming catering service is offered for people in situations of exclusion and precariousness, transforming ingredients from surplus food – which would otherwise be wasted – into delicious dishes.

Refettorio Paris is not only a charity project, it is above all a cultural project made possible thanks to the cooperation of different organizations and individuals. Entrepreneurs, artists, architects and designers, have joined forces and have made available their skills and expertise in order to create a warm, welcoming and inspiring space for people in situations of exclusion, and for the entire local community so that they feel welcome and considered.
